PACE Anti-Piracy develops software protection, licensing, and access management tools used across the professional audio and software industries. Its iLok system is widely adopted by audio developers and studios to manage licenses and protect intellectual property.
The company operates in a technical space where security, usability, and developer adoption all need to work together. Its products sit behind the scenes, but are critical to how software is distributed, protected, and accessed at scale.
My Role
I led marketing efforts across the company, focusing on making highly technical concepts understandable and usable for developers, partners, and customers.
- Led the redesign and restructuring of the company website to better reflect products, use cases, and developer needs
- Created and wrote case studies that translated technical implementations into clear, practical examples
- Developed content for industry events, including the Audio Developer Conference and NAMM
- Learned and translated complex topics like white-box cryptography into language that developers and stakeholders could understand
- Created marketing and educational content around licensing systems, including iLok and dongle-based protection
- Supported ongoing communications across web, email, and event channels
